Revising my rating. Back in 2021 i had a significant amount of issues making the game unplayable. The game functions fine now, and i do a playthrough every few months. the controlls are clunky, but so was the origional, it just feels worse because it's a touch screen. if you can get past the controls, it's a good time.

The game has always played well for the most part and it's a really fun game. I think this is a little better than the first game. My advice however is save each time on a new file because while they're rare in my experience, there are bugs that can prevent continuing the game if you don't reload a previous save.

Most reviews claim that there are gamebreaking glitches and crashes that occur in places like the opening crawl or the Telos polar region shuttle cutscene, but I have not encountered any of those. Due to the fact that other people have experienced these issues, I advise you to purchase at your own discretion. Theoretical glitches aside, this game has been ported just as well as its predecessor. There is, however, an issue with the achievements. They can not be obtained or even accessed.
